Golf Solitaire

The aim of Golf Solitaire is to clear all cards from the tableau.

TABLEAU - At the begining player is dealt 35 face-up cards into seven piles, 5 cards each. This set of piles is known as the tableau.

STOCK - After dealing cards to the tableau, remaining cards are set aside forming a stock pile.

WASTE - One card is dealt face-up onto the waste pile.

  • A card from any of the tableau piles can be moved to the waste pile if it is either one rank higher or one rank lower than the top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. Ace is one, number cards have respective values, Jack 11, Queen 12 and King 13.
  • Cards are not wrapped in Golf Solitaire meaning an Ace can not be played on a King or a King can not be played on an Ace.
  • Only top card from each tableau pile is available to be moved to the waste pile. Once a card is moved from a tableau pile to the waste pile, next card in the pile becomes available for play.
  • Player can click on the stock pile anytime which deals 1 card face-up onto the waste pile.
  • Redeal is not allowed so once all cards are moved from the stock to the waste pile, game ends.

The game is won when all cards from the tableau are moved to the waste pile.

  • Click top card of a tableau pile to play it to the waste pile.
