Good Measure Solitaire

The objective of Good Measure Solitaire is to build all four suits up from Ace to King using a standard 52-card deck.

TABLEAU - At the begining player is dealt all 52 cards face-up into ten piles; First two aces found while dealing cards are moved to first two foundation piles. Remaining cards are equally distributed among ten piles so that each pile has five face-up cards. All Kings found in a pile is moved to the bottom of that pile. This set of piles is known as the tableau.

FOUNDATION - Four foundation piles.

  • The tableau piles are built down by rank (regardless of its suit). Only top card of a tableau pile is available for play.
  • An empty tableau pile can not be used to place any card.
  • Foundation piles can contain cards starting from Ace. Two foundation piles begin with Aces and remaining two Aces can be placed on two foundation piles as it becomes available during play. Cards of the same suit can then be played on each Ace in ascending order, from low (2) to high (King).
  • Moving cards from the foundation to the tableau is not allowed.

The game ends once all cards are moved onto the foundation piles.

  • Drag and drop cards between piles.
  • Double click top card in any of the tableau piles to automatically move to the foundation.
