One-Handed Solitaire

The aim of One-Handed Solitaire is to discard all cards from a standard 52-card deck by matching and discarding.

TABLEAU - One tableau pile; Cards in a standard 52-card deck are shuffled and four cards are drawn from the back of deck to the tableau pile.

STOCK - After dealing cards to the tableau, remaining cards are set aside forming a stock pile.

WASTE - Empty waste pile.

  • All cards are played from the stock pile to a single tableau pile. The cards in the tableau pile are played as following:
  • When last card and fourth last card in the pile are of same suit then two middle cards are discarded to the waste pile.
  • When last card and fourth last card in the pile are of same rank then all four cards are discarded to the waste pile.
  • If no card can be discarded then one card is dealt from the back of the stock pile to the tableau pile and again played according to the above rules.
  • Game ends when no card is left in the stock pile. Game is won when all cards are discarded to the waste pile.
  • Click stock pile to deal one card from the back of the deck to the end of the tableau pile.
  • Click cards in the tableau pile to discard.
