Royal Parade Solitaire

The aim of Royal Parade Solitaire is to build 24 foundations by threes in suit from their starting cards using two standard 52-card decks. The game is also known as Picture Gallery Solitaire since in order to win the game all foundation piles must end with a picture (or face) card.

FOUNDATION - 24 foundation piles arranged in 3 rows of 8 foundation piles; First foundation pile in each row is dealt 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Remaining foundation piles are dealt one card each.

RESERVE - Eight reserve piles are dealt one card each.

STOCK - After dealing cards to the foundation and the reserve, remaining cards are set aside forming a stock pile.

WASTE - Empty waste pile.

  • Foundations are built in an specific order as following
    • 8 foundation piles in the first row should start with a Deuce and build up in suit by threes in the sequence of 2, 5, 8 and J.
    • 8 foundation piles in the second row should start with a Three and build up in suit by threes in the sequence of 3, 6, 9 and Q.
    • 8 foundation piles in the third row should start with a Four and build up in suit by threes in the sequence of 4, 7, 10 and K.
  • Since foundation piles are dealt one card each at the beginning, cards in the foundation piles which are not the correct starting rank for that pile must be moved to other piles. A foundation pile can be built up as explained above only if it starts with the correct rank for that row.
  • Aces are not required in the game so it can be moved to the waste pile. Removing Aces will create gaps in the foundation initially which can then be filled with the starting rank for that row.
  • Clicking on the stock pile will deal one card to each of the reserve piles. Only top card of a reserve pile is available for play to the foundation.

The game ends once all cards are moved onto the foundation piles in their respective sequences.

  • Drag and drop cards between the piles. Tap a card to automatically move to the foundation.
