Backbone Solitaire

Backbone Solitaire is a unique and difficult solitaire game played with 2 decks of standard 52-cards set. The aim is to build eight foundations up by suit from Ace to King.

BACKBONE / RESERVE - At the center two reserve decks are dealt 10 cards each face-up to form "backbone". At the bottom of the "backbone" one additional card is dealt covering both reserve piles. This card is called "tailbone" card.

TABLEAU - 8 tableau piles, 4 on either side of the "backbone". One card is dealt face-up to each of the 8 tableau piles.

STOCK - Remaining cards are set aside forming a stock pile.

FOUNDATION - Eight empty foundation piles.

WASTE - One empty waste pile.
