King Albert Solitaire

King Albert is a solitaire card game using a deck of 52 playing cards with aim to build four foundations up from Ace to King.

RESERVE - At the begining player is dealt 7 cards face-up onto a reserve pile.

TABLEAU - Player is dealt remaining 45 cards face-up into nine piles. The first pile (left to right) gets 9 cards, the second pile gets 8 cards, and so on, so the last pile gets 1 card.

FOUNDATION - Four empty foundation piles.

  • On the tableau, cards are played in descending order, alternate colors. Only top card of a tableau pile is available for play.
  • An empty pile in tableau can be filled with any card.
  • Any card from the reserve is available to be played to the tableau or the foundation.
  • Foundation piles can contain cards starting from Ace so as Aces become available, it can be placed in one of the foundation piles. Cards of the same suit can then be played on each Ace in ascending order, from low (2) to high (King).
  • Cards once played to the foundation can not be moved back to the tableau.

The game ends once all cards are moved onto the foundation piles.

  • Drag and drop card between two piles.
  • Double click card in the reserve pile or, any of the tableau piles to automatically move to the foundation.
