Poker Shuffle Solitaire

The objective of Poker Shuffle Solitaire is to score maximum points by making poker hands using first 25 cards from a shuffled standard 52-card deck. This game is similar to Poker Square Solitaire with some relaxed rules.

TABLEAU - 5x5 grid with empty cells.

STOCK - All 52 cards are shuffled and placed in a stock pile.

  • One card can be placed in each tableau cell. Top 25 cards from the stock pile can be played onto all tableau cells.
  • Cards played in one tableau cell can be moved to another cell.
  • Each hand consists of 5 cards. A total of 10 hands can be made from the 5x5 grid using horizontal and vertical sequences. Total score is sum of all points scored for individual hands.
  • To win the game a score of 200 or higher is required.
  • Sequence of cards in the game is A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2.
  • The sequences and their points value is as following

    Straight flush 5 cards in sequence and in same suit 75
    Four of a kind Four cards with same rank and one card with another rank 50
    Full house Three cards with one rank and two cards with another rank 25
    Flush Five cards in same suit and no sequence 20
    Straight Five cards in sequence and not in same suit 15
    Three of a kind Three cards in one rank and two cards in two other ranks 10
    Two pairs Two cards in one rank, another two cards in other rank, and last card in third rank 5
    One pair Two cards in one rank and remaining three cards in three different ranks 2

The game ends once all 25 cells in the tableau are filled.
