Lady Jane Solitaire

The aim of Lady Jane Solitaire is to build eight foundations up from Ace to King using two standard 52-card decks. The game is a two card blend of Klondike and Spider Solitaire.

TABLEAU - At the begining player is dealt 55 cards face-up onto ten piles. The first pile (left to right) gets one card, the second pile gets two cards, and so on, so the last pile gets ten cards. This set of piles is known as the tableau.

STOCK - After dealing cards to the tableau, remaining cards are set aside forming a stock pile.

WASTE - An empty waste pile.

FOUNDATION - Eight empty foundation piles.

  • On the tableau, cards are played in descending order, any suit.
  • An empty pile in tableau can be filled with any card and can then be played in descending order any suit.
  • Player can click on the stock pile anytime which deals 3 cards to the waste pile. Only top card from the waste pile can be played. One redeal is allowed so when all cards from the stock pile are moved to the waste pile, it can be moved back to the stock pile by clicking on empty stock pile.
  • Foundation piles can contain cards starting from Ace so as Aces become available, it can be placed in one of the foundation piles. Cards of the same suit can then be played on each Ace in ascending order, from low (2) to high (King).
  • Top card from a tableau pile can be moved to foundation or another tableau pile.
  • A sequence of same suit cards in descending order in one tableau pile can be moved to another tableau pile
  • Top card from the waste pile is allowed to be moved onto the tableau or foundation piles.
  • Card from the foundation can not be moved to any of the tableau piles.

The game ends once all cards are moved onto the foundation piles.

  • Drag and drop cards between tableau piles, foundation piles and waste pile.
  • Click top card in the stock pile to draw cards to the waste pile.
  • Double click card in the waste pile or any of the tableau piles to automatically move to the foundation.
